“One day I’ll get healthy… one day I’ll feel strong again… one day I’ll get closer to Jesus.”

But the truth is…

One day never comes if we don’t sow today… and talking about it certainly isn’t sowing.

Simply put, you can’t reap what you haven’t planted.

Every choice…how you move, what you eat, how you think, and who you trust, …plants a seed for the life you’ll live tomorrow. There’s no other way around this beautiful process.

It’s not about being perfect, it’s about showing up, choosing faith over fear, and doing what you want your future to look like today. Get uncomfortable, feel the change… and yes, sometimes feel the pain. It’s okay… because the harvest will come. 🙌🏼

And it’s abundant.

The Two Things That Changed My Life

I remember when all three of my kids went off to school. After being a stay-at-home mom for so many years, I didn’t quite know how to step into my own individuality again…

From breastfeeding to changing diapers, park days, and field trips, my whole world revolved around them.

And then suddenly, they were all in school full-time, and I found myself a bit lost. Unsure of who I was without them, confused, and not really certain of my place anymore.

I slipped into wine nights and weight gain, with bouts of depression. And before things spiraled further, I knew I had to make a change, to feel better, to become better.

One weight at a time, I found myself again.

Lifting led to bodybuilding, and eventually, to opening Drench Fitness, because weightlifting truly changed my life.

And then came my surrender just 2 years ago Nov. 26.

Even after being a believer for 25 years, I never fully understood the Bible. But when I surrendered, God revealed everything to me through His Word. The more I read the Bible, the more I understood Him.

As I grew deeper with the Lord, everything in my life changed, far greater than I could have ever imagined.

If I had to name the two things that transformed my life, it would be these:

lifting weights and the Word of God.

Everything else simply fell into place, strong health to care for my family and a firm foundation in God.

And the most wonderful part?

It just keeps getting deeper and better.

Then came the vision He had been preparing me for all along

—Selah Grace.

It took my surrender to fully understand what that vision truly was, and now I am stepping into my final purpose:

A sacred place created for women to be strengthened and to thrive…body, mind, and spirit. A sanctuary for the mental, physical, and spiritual restoration we all long for.

I longed for it, and now I’ve found it. And through Him, I have built it, for other women to experience.

In the preparation God put me through, I used to chase muscles and reducing body fat… thinking that was the goal.

But it wasn’t until I understood His purpose for my body that I began to experience true health — a thriving body, mind, and spirit.

God gave me the vision of Selah Grace — and I realized it was never about chasing muscles or burning off body fat.

It’s about stepping into a thriving body and God’s purpose for it all.

Because at the end of the day, the muscles, the fat loss, the physical results… that’s just the gravy to something far greater.

Wholeness.

Wholeness is health.
Wholeness is a thriving body.
Wholeness is freedom.

And that’s what Selah Grace was created to give you — strength for your body, restoration for your soul, and sisterhood for your journey.

If you’ve been chasing motivation or waiting for it to show up one day… this may be your answer.

Because motivation fades, but when you’re rooted in purpose, you begin building your temple on a foundation that lasts.

Maybe this isn’t just another workout — maybe it’s your calling.

As I stand here between classes in the quiet of the open gym, I’m in awe of what God has created at Selah Grace.

I think of the women He is sending, the connections being formed, and the way they’re walking their health journeys together—growing stronger in body, mind, and spirit. 🙌🏼

I’m in complete and utter awe that God has trusted me to lead this space. I don’t take it lightly. It’s why I seek to keep a sound mind, to stay unwavering in my closeness with Him—worshiping, praying, and listening—so that I can be fully equipped to lead in the way He desires.

Sometimes it feels scary. It’s a big mission. It’s very costly. But God’s a billionaire, and as long as I stay aligned with Him, I know He’ll keep me focused. I know I cannot fail because He is in charge, but I do want to remain aligned with everything He asks of me here. This assignment is beautiful. It’s big. But when I told Him, ‘Lord, send me,’ He did.

If you’re curious to see a fitness and wellness studio with God as the foundation, I’d love to give you a tour. But I also know that if you’re meant to be here, God Himself will lead you. Everything about this place is divine, sacred, and so much more than I could have ever imagined.

God is a big God—He can do anything! Just keep taking that step of faith and saying yes, until a door closes and He opens something better.

We serve a God who promises that He works ALL things together for our good. 🕊️ Sometimes we find ourselves in the middle of the story, the waiting, the stretching, the uncertainty. But hear me on this…

If it doesn’t look like His abundance yet, then the story is not finished! Your story has only just begun🙌🏼

It’s what you choose to do with that story and the faith you carry that changes everything. When you surrender it all to Him, He takes you deeper—layer after layer, glory to glory. That’s His promise. 🩵…. And it becomes too gooooood!!!!!

That’s the heart behind Selah Grace. 🌿 This sanctuary isn’t just about fitness or routines—it’s about wholeness. It’s about teaching women to pause (Selah), to receive His grace, and to rise into the fullness of who they were always meant to be.

Life was never meant to be lived in striving or scarcity. It was meant to be lived in overflow, in health, in joy, in confidence, and in His presence🔥

So if what you see right now doesn’t look “too good,” don’t lose heart. Your next chapter is coming. And sis, I can’t wait to walk with you into it. 🕊️
